I'm Iggy, a semi-retired restoration mason who has been in the business for 25 years. I love old buildings and want to see that they are preserved and restored properly. Since good masonry repairs seem to be a rarity in this part of the country, I have decided to start this blog to help people hire the right contractor, ask the right questions, and to get the best possible job done while avoiding getting shafted in the process.
